Claims-Made and Occurrence Coverage
Depending on the state where you practice, American Physicians offers either claims-made or occurrence form professional liability coverage. Claims-made policies cover incidents that happen and are reported during the life of the policy. Prior acts or tail coverage is needed to protect against claims that may be reported before or after the policy period. Occurrence policies cover incidents that happen during a policy term, regardless of when they are reported as claims.

Expert, Aggressive Claims Defense
Expertise and aggressive defense are the foundations of American Physicians' claims service. Our philosophy is to protect your professional reputation by defending all non-meritorious claims.
